They had to get stronger by fighting each otheer, and main point was for one single kid to stay alive and he would be the most powerful. Then mc stayed alive alone with his best friend who attacked him, when mc felt betrayed and proceeded to kill his best friend, his bff revealed that he never wanted to hurt him, but he knew one of them had to die and he didnt want it to be mc.
