Don't get me wrong, I don't hate FL. But it feels like the author didn't know FL's writing direction which makes it hard to read cuz she can be randomly STUPID. The premise is very stereotypical but FL does show some good points in the story that makes you at least interested on how it ends.
But if you've read a ton of these plotlines already, it's not gonna be a fun ride.
That is so interesting! In actual lore, Eros and Psyche had rendezvous in a secret garden every night, I was thinking the "night visits" was the counterpart for it but they also put it into play with Ros and Psyche's "secret garden".

Unfortunately, as much as we want a fluffy story revolving around Greek Gods, this one gives you an image on how it actually is.
Greek Mythology is full of rape, sex, and pilaging (ofc there are still good ones out there but majority is... Just NO. ) So, yeah, not that kind of story where "God" helps out the MC. It's straight up an accurate portrayal of Greek Gods who are egotistical and narcissistic.

They're clearly two different individuals, but what if Ros got into trouble a lot because he was hot and named after Eros kinda like Aphro who got pissed off on Psyche cuz he's too pretty and revered more than her. Gods seem very egotistical afterall and would hate being compared or bested by anything or anyone.
It makes me think that maybe Ros was a victim of a God's (maybe Eros himself) curse regarding his appearance hence why he hides his face and is very timid. Imagine if his actual name was Eros but he prefers to be called Ros cuz he hates being likened to him.
The misunderstandings this might breed would go hard.
