Nope. I read with my usual settings before the ads appear. It's just the mangago. I've been seeing people experiencing the same issue. Seen question from here to discord. It's either a bug or they're experimenting something with ads.
I hope it's a bug and they fix it. No-ads is like one of their most attractive points. I stuck around even when comments were disabled but popups are my bottom line.
