the way i rolled my eyes so hard when i saw the undertaker OF COURSE it had to be him i still don’t know what’s his problem and why is he doing all of this they prob mentioned it but it’s been years man wrap it up

You know, I wonder what the rest are doing. While Ciel and Co are busy doing all these, during the past few chapters. Are they like paciently waiting, before they make a move at them? It's like, villains waiting for the Heroes to introduce themselves and strike a pose 1st, before start attacking each other (≧∀≦). (Just like Samurais in the past. No interesting introduction of yourself, means that you aren't worth fighting for your head XD).
When will be able to get to the main event? We've been stuck with side quest all these time (Even though they are connected some way or another). If the author is going to drag this any longer with short chapters, who knows if we ever reach the end, before we even grow old I worry, for months long hiatus that might come our way (because author always busy doing other projects). Or everyone stop uploading this. At least hope, the author stays healthy.
Ciel & co are doing this at the same time. They all left London and went to the respective blood factories. The "bad guys" go about like they did before, collect blood and follow real Ciel/Undertaker's orders. Real Ciel's goal isn't to kill our Ciel, since he could've done that while our Ciel was unconscous, donating blood that one time he was investigating undercover. Real Ciel wants to play some sort of game with his brother, like chess, to see who makes the better moves and comes out on top. At most it's been weeks since that night at the manor. The plot makes sense, destroying the source of the puppets, i.e. the blood factories, is a necessary step to stop real Ciel & Undertaker (and their undead zombies). We also see real Ciel take on the task of Lord Phantomhive, having to manage the estate. The author has dedicated 20 years to this, and has done a great job. As far as I know, she has only taken one break for about 10 months for research purposes, where she also worked on smth related to Twisted Wonderland, which she has worked on years prior as well. We've gotten regular updates for almost 2 decades, which is a blessing. This isn't a given, as for example Hunter x Hunter has been on many many hiatus bc of the authors health. Then there's other manga that have been going on longer than Black Butler too, like One Piece and Case Closed. So far the authors are still alive and putting out new chapters. I've got nothing to complain about. The author is doing great work, the plot makes sense and is interesting, the art is gorgeous, and the updates are regular. I know some people are impatient for the manga to end, but rushing it would be a dishonour to the work, it wouldn't be satisfying. It has always been a manga that updates monthly, and is obv still ongoing. For those who are impatient, I would recommend to put it aside and pick it up either when it's officially finished, or go for a reread every couple of years. I've reread it maybe 4-5 times in the last 10+ years, and it's always a joy. Btw we also got 2 new anime seasons in the last 3 years, so the fandom isn't dead but still thriving.

Undertaker is a great villain and it's not going to be wrapped up anytime soon, it was exciting to see him again...
