I will admit, I did when I was younger, but not anymore. I outgrew that and now limit shipping to fictional characters.   1 reply

Honestly I don't mind if people shipped me with other people or if someone shipped other people together in real life, but I, myself, don't ship. I find people who are able to casually do it, a little bit strange because I never found myself doing it. Like I would ship 2D characters but no real, breathing human being. I find it uncomfortable to do ......   1 reply

i don't ship real people. So sometimes i'll just think about celebrities like "those guys are hot and would look good together" or something along those lines, but i would never do anything more than that. It's a bit unnerving thinking about being shipped. Imagine you and your co-worker / friend having a nice friendship, and then it being torn apa......   reply

Ship in moderation. Sometimes you can’t help but appreciate two good looking people together, you create these “what if’s” scenarios in your head, but you should reevaluate yourself when you start thinking they are actually dating and then have the audacity to attack people who question your delusion. Delving into dangerous territory like ......   reply

I don’t understand why you would ship people in real life?? Honestly it pisses me off when people actually ship celebrities and other irl people because one, they owe nothing to the fans or the person who ships them, and two, mind your own fucking business. It’s okay to ship fictional characters because they aren’t real, and its okay to fanbo......   reply

I have rarely ever shipped people in real life, though I am sure I have, I seldom do and I will never ever will send any sort of hate towards their real life respective partner. The people who attack the girlfriends/boyfriends of someone solely due to the fact that they 'get in the way' of their ship is absoulutely disgusting and that is not a rea......   reply

I would be batshit pissed if someone is drooling everytime i talk to my friend Generally I dont care for ppl's love lives. I could care less if you a......   reply

We have no clue how they feel about the situation. So let’s just be respectful of others and not ship them.   1 reply

After reading that post about fujoshis, I can't stop thinking about it.
I mean the girl contradicted herself a lot and all of that, but some answers had me appalled like what???

Do you guys really think is healthy shipping celebs/idols?

I answered someone why I think is very problematic, giving this example:

Is a big problem because fans don't know how to stop their obsession with shipping, take One Direction for an example, Harry and Louis were (and still are) shipped a lot, to the point that when they had girlfriends their shippers would attack the girl everywhere, on the social media and in real life, when Louis had a child, they would theorize that is was a fake kid and all of that, those shippers ruined their friendship a lot, yes they are friends but it's just not the same thing. With kpop idols is the absolute same, yes they are selling a character, but the character doesn't include a bf/gf, this shipping thing comes straight from the fans heads and they delude themselves with their own illusion, so yes, shipping celebs is a big problem because they are REAL, shipping can and will destroy their relationships and friendships, all because of some fans who can't separate wishful thinking from reality.

Also: is not really the idol that is selling a character, is their entertainment company which means they are forced to sell this character and sell all those fanservice 'bromance' y'all like to see, do you guys still think is a healthy thing?

Really want your guys opinion on this.
