All questions about tired of anime and manga

Does anyone feel that "new bad, old good" boomer mentality get to em sometimes? XP Like I've read hundreds of BL for example and saw hundreds of shows, played tons of video games - and it's like all the old stuff sticks out way more. Almost everything current is already becoming tired or is continuing off stuff started like a decade ago. I thought to kinda freshen things up, I'm getting into all the old stuff I hadn't touched yet, and it's been really interesting. Also I like having a completed manga or an almost finished show to kinda go through at my leisure that I don't have to wait a decade for.

What do you guys think? I'm sure I'm not the only one but I gotta find my fellow boomers (not literal btw, I'm not quite* that old). OR anyone wanna try that, check out the much older stuff?

Some of y'all are out here having read THOUSANDS of web-comics on this godforsaken site. It's scary yet praiseworthy. There is so much garbage to read, whether its the incest plots, pedophila tropes, extremally fucked up yoai, lesbians in yuri who only get off on fingering each other (and barely do anything else), cursed art styles, a bunch of kids starting a club/band, mafia/yakuza shit, hundreds of recycles isekai/reincarnation stories, historical settings (european/east asian) that all have the same copy-and-paste art styles, female/effeminate male MCs that are fucking idiots, male/masc female love interests that are literally abusive, and the list goes on. So y'all ever get bored??? Like genuinely...

aka what manga, manhwa or manhua makes you say "this person can't draw shit, please hire an artist"?

PS.: This is a joke. All of my respect for most mangakas in the world. But some of them really should take some drawing classes.

So ive been just doing the regular.. yk reading and whatnot. Me, being dark im like ‘hey! where’s the dark people at?’ And not like the ‘tan’ passing mfs. Like I haven’t even seen another race of people. I’m tired of it omgg. And I’ve read a good amount of mangas. And webtoons also! And maybe I’m ignorant because mangas are a Japanese thing? so whenever i read a popular but bad yaoi i feel pretty good while reading it (i feel good nearly every time i read a manga because manga is my way of coping) but then i rate it low or high then drop it. i end up wondering "huh, why did i rate this low? i remember liking this??" then i re-read and realise it's shit. it happened today when i noticed titan's bride updated and said i would try read it but instead i avoided it. then on the forums i see people putting reasons why it has a bad plot. i think the reason why i sometimes feel this way is because the time i read some of these, i was going through a fujoshi phase. although, sometimes i read a yaoi/manga nowadays and experience the same thing but for a short time. does anyone else experience this? anyways how do i just avoid shit manga in general? sometimes you can't trust ratings and i don't like the feeling of no longer enjoying something you used to enjoy. my patience is quite thin sometimes and i lose interest in things easily so shit manga just annoys me so much like i know its my fault for even bothering to read it despite noticing the bad shit and enjoying it while it happened but it annoys me so much to the point that i'm writing this pointlessly long and angry paragraph.

a man likes is sexually attracted to people with blue eyes. he sees a child with blue eyes. he is now sexually attracted to the child. but its not wrong because hes just attracted to the kid because he has blue eyes.
