i handwrite all of my notes and i hate myself for it because although it is HELLA effective when it comes to my learning and remembering information, my god is it time consuming.
my advice is to stay at uni during the day and go to a library to do your study and consolidation - because for me at least, once i'm home i want to do anything but touch ...... reply
Take physical notes when possible in lecture. Or study by handwriting the class notes you took on your computer. Writing notes from lecture is good for base knowledge but if you want to make it stick, reflect on the content. Paraphrase or summarize in your own words and try to make connections. I try to be consistent to do it everyday but being a user on this site can tell you that I don't do shit. As a person who did have 11 hrs of school (thank god I left) best advice is to utilize your time at school and try to read even a little bit everyday so you don't have backlogs

Sometimes it's just better to accept your negative feelings or to see the situation for what it is. In my opinion, that's better than forced optimism. But of course, it's also important not to just foc...... 1 reply
I dont really romanticize it, the best part abt it is allowance and getting to meet with friends and hanging out, but another thing that is really effective is (if you hate losing) be REALLY competitive
