I never bought manga because I can't afford it, I'm grateful sites like this exist bc I wouldn't be able to enjoy these stories otherwise. A local comicsbook store was selling manga at cheap price last week, but I needed the money to take the bus, so I didn't buy any, but I think the real copy are very pretty! Also I know it's better to buy the ori......   reply

I buy alot. I mostly purchases paperback etheir in offical english or the japanese version because I the feel of having the book in my hand. I don't like reading online much because it hurts my eyes and sometimes the words are too small for me to read. I know this is weird but I don't really collect yaoi. I rather buy hard copies than digital, its something I can collect and hold, and it wont hurt my eyes for staring too long. I have a semi large collection over the years and mostly got them from thrift stores, library sales, and/or on sale. reading online is nice but nothing will beat having something you can hold in your hand(at least for me). I will buy multiple, for instance I have Jackass! by Scarlet Beriko in both English and Japanese paper copies. I hope more current Yaoi's get translated because I do prefer to buy English translations. I think that reading online is good to keep up with c......   reply

But like you said, buying manga is money consuming. Where I am we don't have a lot of places where you can walk in and get less popular manga (since it's usually only ever Shonen Jump manga), and I wou......   reply

I have two view points about it, one thatvit is really interesting and fun to collect manga and read hard copies but it is a bit money consuming to only read hard copies which leads me to my second opinion of reading online and buying my favorites only. What do you think?
