I only have 3 criteria for a story to be good for me or at least enough for me to finish reading it XD Either they have all three or they only meet one. 1. Visuals- I need the art style to be pleasing if it's a visual media plus the editing and visual effects. In writing, the characters should at least have one eye candy (quite shallow but sue me).......   reply

For me the top thing that makes a good story is consistent characters. Like if you're going to give me a boss as bitch keep them a boss as bitch around the love interest. Don't make them go stupid and useless cause the love interest is around. Consistent and logical thought process. Sometimes nonsense is thrown into stories to make them more inter......   reply

I agree, Characters have to have understandable motives. Nothing is better than being able to agree or disagree with a character, it makes them seem more human. I also agree on pacing, it kills me how a lot of the things I read don't use their formats to effectively convey appropriate emotional timing or even comedic timing. The characters. I’m a character driven reader, so I don’t care about genre as much as I care about what the characters are doing. They could be awful, but they need to be interesting (at least to me).   reply

My country is barely ever mentioned so I'm usually happy even if it's a stereotypey portrayal. Also feel bad for my middle eastern friends yall have it tough when it comes to good representation.   reply

Country got mentioned on "Card shark" and it's ML being an orphan in the country and being treated horrible, any depiction of Philippines is somehow gang-related or where some dumbass characters runs off to... Like damn ik the country sucks but feature the good stuff too   reply
