I decided to go through with the diagnosis process since my therapist recommended it to me. I did the tests and the doctor concluded that I most likely have autism. Honestly after researching and answering the questions a lot of things about me just started to make sense. It still does come off as a shock though. I remember my younger self thinking "I can't have autism, I don't display those symptoms." Not knowing that there's different levels of autism and different displays of symptoms. Sometimes I wanna shake younger me. I just needed to get this off my chest so pay no mind.
