For reference I was raised in a very conservative and Christian state. Was raised in a church where being apart of the LGBTQIA+ community is considered a major sin. that it's a privilege for parents to know who their child is..... If you don't wanna come out to them you don't have to..... I'm sorry if you got outed tho, humans can be really cruel.... But I wish you nothing but the best <3 And because you're strong you'll get through it.....
i never really thought it was necessary to come out to my fam or friends since its not really...yk their business, BUT despite this, i came out that i was bi to my dad (im actually pan but i knew he would take it worse if i said that lol) not too long ago and he told me i was mentally ill lol, i mean he wasnt 100% wrong but still- anyways he then...... 1 reply
Hi, I'm a demisexual myself, which falls into the Aro/Ace category. Personally I view "coming out" as an action rather than a state of being. In my mind "coming out" is like confessing/declaring your sexuality to your friend(s) and/or family. My belief is that you can do this no matter what you are, even if you are straight. yeah? if youre part of the lgbtqai+ community and youre telling people that you are, youre pretty much out of the closet, since youre like not "hiding" it anymore. personally, as a bi person im attracted to men/women but i still feel that relationships are such a drag and a too big a responsibility that i can handle. then again sexuality/gender is ...... reply
