I actually have to agree with this especially when the manhua have the like webtoon artstyle. However, I absolutely love Chinese Novels and even though they have the same plots there's just something so fun about reading 3000 chapters of either absolute nonsense or a gem. reply
One of the things that put me off the most is the horrible translation and scanlation, even when they finally use a good font the translation is usually bad and awkward af reply
yeh i agree. but i only read BLs manhuas though. So basically yes, the art is often the same and if it s shounen ai then you better prepare for a very long and a boring journey to their first censored kiss. Absolutely 10000% agreed. I avoid them like an absolute plague.
In the past, I would legit read anything because I had the time to explore all these different manga, manhua, manhwas. With manhuas, after a while, you just find they basically just reuse the same plot over and over again. Mostly it is because these artists are paid like nothing so t...... reply
I get what you're saying and that's pretty much true and it gets really annoying but I really like the over the top drama that's happening to pretty much all BL manhua's since ATM I really enjoy it with those kind of stories reply
Same. Tbh, chinese manhuas are just not my type and i find them terrible. The art is (what to say) similar?? and the pacing also gets me uncomfortable. Chinese novels are way better >>>> Are they just excellent in writing but not in storytelling with pictures?
