There will be people who will talk about the problematic aspects of yaoi, others will simply avoid them, some people just don't give af. People with different moral standards will fight each other and rip each others heads off, some will contemplate their decision to read yaoi, while others will simply keep on reading. When there is a opinion that says, "i don't see a problem", there will be another that says,"there is a problem", no one is changing anyone's opinion. You can discuss and debate with each other to understand each other or just skewer each other, (depends on the debaters).
Instead of being triggered every damn time, just let people do whatever the fuck they want. Every community comprises of people with different opinions and standards, you just gotta accept that. Join in or just watch and observe from the sidelines, your choice. No one's going anywhere.
as soon as i saw this question i knew i would see cestelle there spitting facts as usual but in all seriousness i mean its good that people are talking about the problematic shit of yaoi because they're bringing it into light and telling people what they're doing is wrong so i feel like this question wasnt needed reply
