Should heterosexual people read/write homosexual pornography?

As a lesbian woman I think heterosexual people shouldn't write homosexual pornography (including yaoi/yuri). I see it as a form of cultural appropriation and disrespectful fetishization of homosexual individuals. I think that homosexuality should definitely be portrayed and consumed by heterosexual people in other forms of media, such as non-sexual comics, television, movies, etc. as long as it's respectful.
However, I recognize that this is an issue that concerns both heterosexual and homosexual individuals so I would love to hear the opinions of other homosexuals and heterosexuals.
p.s When I say homosexuals I also include bisexuals and pansexuals, since I think they can have authentic homosexual experiences. I would also love to hear some opinions from bi/pan folks since they have a unique perspective on the matter.
I understand where you're coming from but I disagree with the sentiment. Before anything else tho, as a member of the LGBTQIA+, I understand the fear and effects of becoming an object used by the heterosexual community just to satisfy whater fetish they might have that we did not consent to. Until now the community is still trying to reclaim lesbia...... 2 reply
