I’m straight but am I?
Okay so I definitely label myself as straight because I’m sexually and emotionally attracted to guys. However, when I see a beautiful girl I’m like, “wow she’s sooo pretty” and/or if I see a masculine girl (dress like a tomboy?) I think she’s handsome/hot. But I’m not sexually attracted to a girl... for instance I don’t read or watch GL, and I can’t imagine myself doing anything with a girl. Another thing is that when I see a girl cosplayer cosplaying as a male character, I drool over them. And I remember someone commenting on it’s post saying “if you think she’s hot, you’re bisexual”. Sooo that made me think, ‘am I bi curious? Or am I just appreciating their aesthetic and the way they look.?’ Like what would define someone as bisexual. Do I have to be sexually attracted to both genders to be considered bi sexual? And I know, I don’t need to ‘label’ myself with either or. But I’m just confused oml
Honestly i don't think anyone could actually be fully attracted to one gender. But if we're using labels then from what i'm hearing you're still straight. There's a difference between thinking someone is attractive and actually being attracted to someone(idk how to word it correctly.) I’m told being “biromantic” is a thing, I.e. if you’re a biromantic heterosexual, youre only sexually attracted to the opposite gender, but you could fall in love with both. Your romantic orientation and sexual orientation determines your sexuality. You can have totally unrelated romantic orientation and sexual orientations, it depends on how you feel.

sexuality is on a spectrum. Someone can be bisexual but be more attracted to one gender than the other. But, sexuality itself can be hard to label, despite all the different labels, because its so personalized and individual. Everyone is different. What you're describing is either being aesthetically attracted to someone (which doesn't make you bi, you can be aesthetically attracted to anyone bc it's just appreciating beauty regardless of gender) or you're just into butch women.
