LGBT Folks - How do you feel about BL?

Doing a general tally for a paper. Anyone who's LGBT on here, can you give me a brief description of your relationship with BL. How do you feel about it? Do you think it helps/hurt/effects your identity in any way?
Amab bigender+agender, gay for all genders, autochorissexual.
Personally I love bl + gl, though I'm picky about bl because most of it is terrible. Even though I love bl, I think it's pretty harmful because of its fanbase.
