I'm Filipino and love soups, and one of my all time fave is CANSI. a soft fall off the bone Beef soup with young jackfruit and batuan for that sourness and a kick of chili on the side. oooooohhhh and the marrow that's just lovely... thinking about it is juuust SALIVATING!!!   reply

This is a difficult question to answer because my country has a shit ton of amazing foods. Literally one of the best cuisines in the world in my opinion. I'll just list a few. my favorite food from Iran is called "Ghorme Sabzi". it's a stew made with several herbs, meat, beans .... it is severd with rice and is so yummy. it should simmer for at least 3 hours for the different tastes to harmonize.   reply

Pretty much any Vietnamese salad, Gỏi. I'm very much a person that will eat a lot of heavy foods, greasy and carb loaded, but this salad is just so refreshing!! Plus, you can't beat the fish sauce dressing! It's honestly one of my favorite foods!   reply
