Thoughts on calling Male omega's who give birth, Mom?
Does anyone else dislike that in a number of omegaverse yaoi, male omega's who give birth are called Mom? As opposed to being called Dad, Father, etc.
What are you all's thoughts on this? I've just been wondering if anyone else feels the same way or not... because it low-key makes me feel uncomfortable tbh and I've never really seen comments about this particular subject myself. So I wanted to ask.
It’s not necessarily omegaverse though. Half the time you read any Yaoi where one or both characters have kids, one becomes “mom”. Usually the more caring, cooking and domesticated one. “Dad” is the busy one with the high paying job who demonstrates he cares by being strict and disciplined. reply
