Once you get into BL you can never go back
So I was once an avid het romance reader, simped and shipped straight couples only with an unparalleled enthusiasm and vigour but then I got into BL and suddenly I hated reading het romance, it felt so disgusting and I couldn't tolerate it (still do)...I thought it was kind of like a natural response of sorts since a lot of ppl have reported to exp the same reaction but I was starting to wonder what if I get tired of bl ( which ik is bound to happen one day but hopefully I didn't jinx it)... so what are your thoughts and experiences?
I don’t think you necessarily can’t go back.
I’ll admit, I mostly read BL and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it overall, but I still do ocassionally read non BL that I’ve throughly enjoyed.
One of my faves non-BL series I totally love is The King’s Avatar. This story doesn’t even have romance, which is a major plus for me.
