Discovering yaoi
How did you guys come across yaoi? What were your first thoughts?
Personally ai thought it was weird and kind of gross. I was 14 and had alot of internalized homophobia so I think it led me to think that people from the lgbt+ are weird and kind of disgusting. Of course I don't think like that anymore! I'm 20 now and a proud member of the LGBT+ community!
Actually, I don’t EXACTLY remember, but I think I found it after my older sister got into the Owari no Seraph fandom, or I guess anime in general. I would see her fan art and stuff, and be like “Huh. This is actually kind of cute. . .”
