Discovering yaoi
How did you guys come across yaoi? What were your first thoughts?
Personally ai thought it was weird and kind of gross. I was 14 and had alot of internalized homophobia so I think it led me to think that people from the lgbt+ are weird and kind of disgusting. Of course I don't think like that anymore! I'm 20 now and a proud member of the LGBT+ community!
I started out with straight fanfiction and eventually stumbled upon a trap by coincidence. Didn't care that he turned out to be a dude and later got gravitation in my youtube recommendations. I wasn't taught about sexuality growing up so I didn't question it until much later when I was in too deep lol. reply
