Discovering yaoi
How did you guys come across yaoi? What were your first thoughts?
Personally ai thought it was weird and kind of gross. I was 14 and had alot of internalized homophobia so I think it led me to think that people from the lgbt+ are weird and kind of disgusting. Of course I don't think like that anymore! I'm 20 now and a proud member of the LGBT+ community!
How i discovered it is another story but how i actually got into it was from webtoon. At first i clicked bl as a joke because i thought yaoi was something that only cringe people like but i actually ended up likeing it.
