What is the most frunked up skrumpy ewwie yuck-yuck true crime case you’ve ever seen?

I’m talking messed up, disturbing, flipping crazy, fudging gruesome, blood curdling, toe curling, blanket extending, bone retracting, don’t keep the dogs out from under the blanket kind of true crime story.

There was this one case (which idk the name of) where a girl was held hostage after being forced into someone’s car during her shift at work.

After days of looking for her, her dad, which I’m pretty sure was a cop, got a picture of her from the killer to show that she was safe and would be returned alive if the dad paid money. In the picture, the girl was shown looking at the camera, unharmed and holding up a newspaper.

Anyway, the dad paid the money. After some more days, the killer was found and HERE COMES THE FREAKY PART WHICH I’M SURE YOU CAN GUESS WHAT HAPPENED. I don’t remember the rest, but in the picture (WHICH YOU CAN FIND ONLINE), the girl was already dead and had her eyes sewn open by the killer :0 that’s messed up
