I dont typically like Omegaverse stories without Alpha x Omega. I think it's kinda stupid when it's any other pairing because it's basically just being gay in regular society. I read Omegaverse SO I can see men get pregnant, a women get pregnant from another women , and have them bond/mark each other. Like I don't see the point in making the story ABO when they usually face the same problems as gay people in real life. Tho, the downside with most Alpha x omega couples is that we don't usually see a beefy bottom :(
Sidenote: I feel like recently I haven't read ABO stories where the Alpha marks the Omega. Are authors phasing that out of Omegaverse??
As a lover of nontraditional omegaverse couples, I like the additional angst that comes from the whole soulmate/bonded pair conflict. I like the concept of fighting not only societal standards but also biology and "destiny". reply
Alpha x alpha is acceptable only if the uke alpha becomes pregnant, or turns into omega because of the dominant alpha seme pheromones. Also alpha x alpha is only intersting if the smut is crazy good. reply
Hmm, not a fan of omegaverss, but like i prefer alphaxalpha nd omegaxomega ones over regular ones , cus i feel its a story about lovers fighting society norms nd even destiny itself

Same, I don't typically like other pairings unless the story is rlly good because most of the time the just follow the same pattern,
Beta x Alpha: "He'll be better off with an omega that can have a family with him.. "
Omega x Beta: "He'll be better off with an alpha that can have a family with him.. "

I haven't read that much ABO but both conventional and unconventional pairings can give a good romance in my opinion
