Should straight men be allowed to play roles of queer characters?
As always when a new bl series begins trending the topic whether it's fair or not for straight men to get the roles of gay characters gets brought up. Given now that heated rivalry has been out people have been attacking the actors with claims of "Queer baiting" and that an openly gay man should've gotten the role rather than the current actors.
Yes (although it would be nice to have more queer actors)
This discourse is very parasocial in the respect that people believe they are entitled to celebrities sexuality and personal life.
