Should straight men be allowed to play roles of queer characters?
As always when a new bl series begins trending the topic whether it's fair or not for straight men to get the roles of gay characters gets brought up. Given now that heated rivalry has been out people have been attacking the actors with claims of "Queer baiting" and that an openly gay man should've gotten the role rather than the current actors.
Imagine that to play a role we will force people to come out. "What do you mean you do not want to come out? Role goes to someone else just because they were open about their sexuality..." or it can work both ways "you are gay! You cant possibly pretend that you like the opposite gender!" I believe that there are way more gay actors in hollywood th...... reply
