Should I tell my mom that I like Yaoi?
I've been thinking this question for months if I should tell mom that I like Yaoi. My sister and brother found out that I'm watching those Thai BL Series and read Yaoi mangas but they are okay with it. Also Mom approved my sister's relationship with another girl. My mom happily welcome my sister's gf. If mom is okay with my sister's gf maybe she can approved me liking Yaoi? But I'm a little scared in telling mom that I like Yaoi:<
Why the heck do you think you need to tell her? It's not like you'd be doing anyone a favor. And if I was a parent, I think I'd be a lot more receptive to my kid being gay than to my kid coming up to me all like "Hey, just wanted to let you know I like to read gay smut."
I'd say just keep it to yourself. It's ultimately your decision though. reply
