I only read bl/yaoi that being said people are saying that the manga artist for this bl drew some pedo stuff to be more specific a student x teacher relationship??? Some people are saying it's being exaggerated and the teacher does not like the student and called out the people who have gone on to attack the manga artist to the point of her quiting.
Another problematic element is that the people doing the attacking are primarily a western audience so people feel like westerners are trying to force their values onto another culture.
Okay so my personal opinion is that I haven't read the manga but I've watched like 4 eps of the bl and it looks like one of those fluffy bls which I appreciate because as someone who has been reading bl for 5+ years there are so much pedo stuff in bl manga or they make the uke look like a child (*cough* love is an illusion) now that I'm older I avoid high-school BLs I prefer buff older ukes anyways so I'm a bit skeptical to the people who are say that people are exaggerating because ik how problematic alot of bl manga artist are even some of my favourite BLs have some problematic scenes.
That being said I don't think people should attack the artist if you want to complain that's fine but do it on sites like this not directly to the artist! If there is something I'm missing to why people are so angry over the artist then please explain cuz idk how ppl can make that mistake.

I read syudei's other works before I knee they wrote nakamura (it clicked after like 4 chapters) and tbh neither of the ones I read were really interesting but from what I saw it wasn't like... glamorized.
