Were y'all bullied for liking anime?
If so what's your story? If you don't mind sharing? It doesn't matter which anime. It's just it baffles me in TikTok, talks about their experience and how their bullies now pretends to be an og anime fan. I'm curious to see how common truly this one is.
I wouldn't say I was bullied but the quiet social pressure to stop liking the things other people found "weird" (like anime or even reading novels) was crushing.
My classmates would give me odd looks when I named an anime when the question of "what shows everyone was watching currently" when I was a tween (which would have been 2015/17 ish).
