How far ur moral ground stand when you reading ???
We knew things like non-con, familial bond, blackmail, and so on is wrong if u talking about morals. On the other hand some people actually doesn't mind dark genre like that, and sometimes abuse and negligence often used as good material for a villain/mc flashback as reason to do smth good/bad. How far u can handle morally wrong act? Is there a line u set for urself like " I might can handle cheating, but rape is the line i wont tolerate " ?? Or as long as no one knew abt it, u keep it to urself of how far u can actually tolerate morally wrong read???
Id first look at the writer’s intent and background. Stories that involve morally wrong or disturbing topics aren’t automatically bad.
If the writer is just using them to push their own agenda, glorify harmful behaviour, or write whatever makes them personally comfortable without any meaningful purpose or reflection, then that’s where I stop...... reply
