Healthy foods you like?
Hello. I hope you're having a good week wherever you are in the world. If not, please know I'll be thinking about you and hoping things get better.
I am currently trying to make a change. I want to become healthy, but my family cultured a habit of eating out. My health is not that great and it could be because of my diet. I don't know much about cooking, so I am hoping the kind community here could help.
My family isn't huge, but our kitchen is small and hard to cook in large quantities to last the week.
I am wondering if anyone knows any healthy recipes for a starter cook, or perhaps healthy snacks to make for a family that loves sugar. We already have an array of fruit, but that doesn't always replace a meal.
Lemon pie overnight oats (me and my sister's favorite)
- 1/2 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2-4 tbsp of vanilla greek yogurt (sugar free and fat free)
- 1/2 tsp chia seeds (or less, really depends on how thick you want the oats)
- 1/2 tsp of lemon zest (or more)
- tbsp of lemon juice (or less, this is really all personal choice)
