I'm all for "your body, your choice," and I support abortion when someone genuinely isn't financially, mentally, or physically able (or those survivors of sexual violence) to raise a child because it's for the well-being of both the mother and the unborn child.
What bothers me isn't the abortion itself it's the caption and the way she's treating the situation. I don't know if it's just for clicks, but her pinned comment seem genuine. Then she's hearting and agreeing with comments that joke about it. That doesn't sit right with me.
I don't even want kids myself and have no plans to have them. What irritates me is people saying we're just "hating" because she got an abortion. We're not. We're criticizing how casually she's joking about something this serious.
What I'm getting from you is that you support abortion as long as its necessary, right?
Most people who support abortion do so because they respect the bodily autonomy of whoever is pregnant over any social norms or expectation that just because someone is a female they have sacrifice their bodies to a fetus.
