What would you do if the author of your fav story removed their story from all illegal sites?
And they threaten to take legal action if they find their work is being pirated somewhere?
I had a fav BL where the author demanded the uploaders to remove the uploads from the piracy site I was reading the BL on, and since I liked the story and didn't want the author of my fav story feeling disrespected and upset over something they clearly expressed they don't like happening, I just accepted that I wouldn't be able to read it on that site anymore. I didn't want to hold any ill-feelings towards the author and them trying to protect their work. And if they purged it from all piracy sites I'd just accept I wouldn't be able to read one of my fav BL until I can finally have the ability to access it legally.
What would you guy's do if the author of your fav works didn't like their works being pirated, and took it down from the piracy sites you use and many more?
I would be okay with it, I mean it's their hard work and I'm the one reading it illegally, I find people who hate authors for these things whiney and unbearable, it's very illogical and weird in my personal opinion. I buy my fav stories actually. What worries me is that thats not possible, they cant remove their work so the faster route is to shut down sites, losing hundreds of works that are legally considered lost media reply

I would literally do nothing tbh. first of all we all know it's getting pirated again anyway and second, if i actually loved the work that hard, i'd buy the physical or legal digital version, but im broke asf so.. reply
write to musuli politely but nonstop to get it translated in eng bc i alr buy the chinese raws -.- or dm the raws to a translator :p
mtl doesn't hit at all. nothing compares to fan trans. all manhwa/manhua/manga creators just pay fans to translate orz reply
You'd be too entitled if you held hard feelings over an author wanting to protect their copyright. Personally if they're my fav author I already bought digital or have their stories in physical copies ╮(￣▽￣)╭ reply
