What's a good story that went downhill after a timeskip
Sometimes authors force a timeskip when they can't write a good character development. It feels out of place and you lose the connection you had with the story initially.
Name a manhwa/hua/ga with a terrible unnecessary timeskip and one that had a good(necessary) timeskip
One of my "absolute super dupeeer totally favorite" writing tricks is when an author introduces a child and an adult, spends half the story building their relationship and then decides "don't worry guys!! we'll just throw in a time skip". Sure the time skip might fit the chronology but c'mon let's not pretend its main purpose isn't to age the young...... 4 reply
