I can't understand why people cry over celebrities or other influential people really anyone who works in the entertainment industry. I understand how they manage to capture people's attention and even I admire their charm and talent and follow some of their shit . But my God actually crying over them? I genuinely can't wrap my head around it. Can someone seriously explain it to me? I can't seem to squeeze out a single thought that makes it make sense lmao
You can't wrap your head around the fact than an artist (and the management behind them) can elicit an emotional response from their fanbase? Isn't that the point?
Okay, but really, as someone who very rarely cries, I have to believe its about the meaningful memories people attach to the doings of influential people, specifically their work.

i honestly dont know, i felt like i lost an online friend when i found out what happened to emman, to the point where i literally cried during lunch break.. didnt even knew i was attached to her like that, maybe i was empathetic abt her situation or i unknowingly had a parasocial attachment to her... shes the only person online i actually cried abt...... reply
