All these bl verses like omegaverse, guideverse and cakeverse almost always have this fated pairing like guide x esper, omega x alpha and you get the gist... This is a QUEER relationship why is there heterosexual implications sprinkled into it?? Give me some omega x omega, esper x esper, beat the expectations will you. Heavy on omegaverse because someone always changing their secondary gender for the person they love and IM BOREDDD. These verses are supposed to explore different options, difference worlds and choices but what's the point if you're just going to follow society norms. Is it that hard to ask for a unique relationship that challenges the system? Also don't get me wrong I don't hate these it's just getting a bit boring now

I just started reading guideverse and, although I find the guide×esper pairs with especially lots of angst and guide aversion and shit like that nice to read (although very repetitive at times), what you're saying is true, I'd actually love to see an esper×esper pair or guide×guide, maybe a regular ass human × guide/esper and the exploration of...... 1 reply
Wish there was more authors who are willing to experiment bru, but the authors gotta make bread somehow , so that's why they resort to the same old plot lines. Because they know people will eat it up... because tell my why I can see soooo many unique relationship dynamics in these verses reply
