I don't think this question is particularly clear on its point, so I'll say that it depends.
everyone is subject to exploitation, it's just a question of what type of exploitation and to what degree. men suffer under patriarchy, because there is hierarchy among men that is acceptable to most men because belonging to the class of men still places t...... 2 reply
I think everyone is trying to stay in the middle ground saying "oh men and women suffer both" to sound smart and nuanced or something but its so clear that women suffer the MOST from the patriarchy. Like, I don't even know where to start. Women are assaulted, beaten and tortured everyday by men because of the patriarchy while misandry just hurts a ...... 4 reply
I originally was going to say both are true, except only willfully ignorant men should be judged yada yada yada I typed like a whole thing...
But then I realized something...
I think I actually DESPISE centering men's feelings when it comes to conversations about feminism.

They have to, women don't do groceries? They have to, women don't do ta...... reply

so no to (2), not because I'm against giving women a little headstart, but because of how vague it is.
also (1) is a verifiable documented effect that has been well-researched and discussed since the 1980s. it's not i...... 2 reply
