Especially when the so-called "redemption arc" lasts 5 chapters at most before the victim forgives and gets together with their abuser. The only redemption I'd accept is jail, castration or death. ️️

This!! They treat their partner a little better for so called redemption arc, all the while being an ass to people around them. They can be a horrible person for majority of the story, but surprise surprise they become a changed person on the last 10 chapters or something, sometimes even less. reply

I agree. It's high time that author should learn to make the mc move on. He is not the only man on the earth. Why bother waiting for him to change? A shitty person is always shitty. I want stories where the mc moves on and be happy with another man or alone,it doesn’t matter. But let the man rot and regret in hell reply
