Especially when the so-called "redemption arc" lasts 5 chapters at most before the victim forgives and gets together with their abuser. The only redemption I'd accept is jail, castration or death. ️️

This!! They treat their partner a little better for so called redemption arc, all the while being an ass to people around them. They can be a horrible person for majority of the story, but surprise surprise they become a changed person on the last 10 chapters or something, sometimes even less. reply
