Is it cheating to read yaoi?
I'm lowk curious to know because I recently was talking to a male friend and I was explaining what micro cheating is and I used porn as an example being that its a person lusting over another, he then proceeds to say how I would need to stop reading explicit manwhas and mangas since its technically porn I then try to make my case saying that I don't think it would be cheating since I'm not reading it only for the explicit content or gooning material.
In the end we just couldn't come to an agreeement so pls tell me what you guys think
yaoi definitely blurs the lines between porn and erotica. it can be both i would argue. enough to define as 'microcheating'? im not sure; i think its up to those in the relationship reply
Hmm honestly, I'm divided on this one. I like to think of it more as, is porn healthy for your relationship? What's your relationship to porn? That's going to be very different depending on you or the person you're with. Your lifestyle, ways of seeing the world and values will be grossly different from the person who doesn't consume porn.

Honestly yes truthfully it is and wow I never even thought of this as an issue as I now realized it should be okay if you let your partner know that you’re not lusting or gooning after the characters like how you would do in normal porn so I’m pretty sure they shouldn’t really have an issue with it but if they end up having an issue with it t...... 1 reply
these males love defending porn as if porn industry isn't the most heinous industries which treats women worse than livestock.
i dont even care if watching porn is considered cheating bc anyone who watches porn is enabling an industry that exploits and assaults and trafficking women and girls. not to mention the harm it causes in the brains.
