Do yall miss the old webtoon/manhwa artstyles?
I get nostalgic when I read old webtoons, not just the stories but they're artstyles also. I just realized how similar looking webtoons/manhwas these days. I mean yeah I love how easy they are to read and easy to the eyes but I kinda miss how every webtoons have their own unique artstyles, even if some of them looked kinda wonky or unproportionate some of them or how over the top the shadings cause somehow they deliver emotions so much better.
I know there are still unique looking webtoons out there but maybe I'm just feeling nostalgic.
Yeah i really do thats why old ones r still my favorite compared to the new ones coming out. They had unqiue artstyle and character. Everything now feels like copy and paste. To me it’s all about aesthetics, and in my opinion art just keeps improving (at least aesthetics-wise), so I prefer the newer art styles most of the time.

Tbh, idgaf that much about webtoons art; like don't get me wrong i did enjoy old webtoons and imo they were much more memorable to me (like black haze or tower of god), but i wasn't really impressed with the art. But manga though? Yeah I super miss it. Modern ones can't hold a candle to it; idc that modern ones look much more aesthetically nice. I ...... reply
