Do yall miss the old webtoon/manhwa artstyles?
I get nostalgic when I read old webtoons, not just the stories but they're artstyles also. I just realized how similar looking webtoons/manhwas these days. I mean yeah I love how easy they are to read and easy to the eyes but I kinda miss how every webtoons have their own unique artstyles, even if some of them looked kinda wonky or unproportionate some of them or how over the top the shadings cause somehow they deliver emotions so much better.
I know there are still unique looking webtoons out there but maybe I'm just feeling nostalgic.
To me it’s all about aesthetics, and in my opinion art just keeps improving (at least aesthetics-wise), so I prefer the newer art styles most of the time.
