Should BL/GL authors show support to pride month!
I recently saw this discussion brought up and I realized not many BL/GL authors show support towards LGBTQ rights or make a post during pride month despite profiting off of the community. I’ve seen some people state that the genre simply fictional, and it doesn’t reflect a person’s real morals. While other people say that more authors should show their stance for the LGBTQ community. What are your thoughts and opinions?
I'm of the opinion, that I genuinely do not care.
I think people should support LGBTQ people in general, but I also heavily disagree with the idea that yaoi is directly profitting off of LGBTQ experiences. Yaoi has rarely, if ever, been about that.
