Do you guys ever feel like you're faking your sexuality...
I like women and I've kissed women before, I identify as bi because I like to read femdom and bls, however in real life I can never imagine myself being comfortable enough with a man that I'm in a relationship with him. In fiction I don't enjoy reading gls as much as bls, with very few exceptions of course (I kind of feel like that's because girls drawn in mangas and manhwas sometimes just look...too fake..? I don't know but they look like children to me when they're supposed to look like adults I'm sorry ) Oh but there are some gls I very much enjoy, wayy more than any kind of stories The point is....my preferences are so different I don't know what I am, and it makes me feel like I'm not bi, straight or lesbian I even thought I was asexual or pan but I really don't know and I'm so lost
labels are just there to help you so if they aren't helping you no pressure to use them. Love freely and don't worry about what box you fit in. I understand the feeling that you're faking it even when you know logically you're not i felt that when i was younger. I found my "faking it" thoughts stemmed from biphobic comments I saw everywhere. It fel...... reply
I've known since I was young that I was a lesbian and I only read GLs because I dislike BL and straight romance heavily but I still get that feeling of "what if I'm just faking it" even now when I'm 20 because ngl some fictional dudes do be looking fine af, I sometimes think I might be aroace instead too though. Someone take my brain away so I stop...... 1 reply
I'm a lesbian, and I enjoy reading BL. I love complex characters, interesting dynamics, layered plots and good storytelling. I've found a lot of that in BL, which is why I enjoy it so much.
I've also recently started exploring GL. However, I wish we had more GL stories with complex characters and compelling storylines. A large portion of lesbian m...... reply
Imo I think a lot of times what you consume in fiction doesn't equate your sexuality irl. Like I've find more fictional male characters more attractive than irl but I find irl women more attractive than fictional ones but I'm sure that I'm bi leaning on the girls. I'm also aro but I love romance and a pervert despite not much interested in sex irl reply
hi ! fellow multisexual person here (im pan), i feel this a lot (though it might be dif cause i have ocd and also probably a lot of internal biphobia) but being bi doesn't mean you have to want to be in a relationship with one gender even if you're attracted to them!! its pretty common tbh. ALSO! your contradictory fictional likes don't necessaril...... reply
I've been a gay man attracted to men ever since I had a grasp on what love and attraction is, I've never looked at a woman and thought that I'm attracted to her, I mostly only carry platonic admiration and amazement at how beautiful and gorgeous women are. That being said, I definitely had a moment where I stared at myself and thought that I'm just...... 1 reply

maybe you'd feel more comfortable identifying as queer just so you don’t feel as restricted. or just say that you are bi with more preference for women, maybe? reply
yes especially since I haven't had a relationship so I really am unsure what my sexuality is, maybe I'm aroace since I'm not into relationship nor do I like the idea of sex, but maybe I'm actually a delulu and I'm really just a hopeless romantic. or maybe I really am a bitch
