I know I often mistake thirst for hunger. Are you drinking enough water? The general recommendation for active people is half your body weight (lbs) in fluid oz. (Ex: if I weigh 120lbs, I need to drink 60floz of water a day to stay hydrated). Also, aim for more protein heavy meals. I low key just turn them off and approach the situation very logically. When I have time, I watch or read something very sad, happy, etc (just something that invokes strong emotions) to make myself cry out all the built up chemicals in my head from suppressing stuff. I think you are getting yaoi and bara mixed up. Bara is made for men (and very macho/male centered), yaoi and bl are made for women.
