is thirst a good thing? is it a thing to be ashamed of?
For years I've tried to get to terms with having thirst (mainly for 2D characters ).
I get that if you do get the thirst for a real person you have to be super careful that it doesn't hurt the other party and keep it away from them, but what if you just thirsting in general?
Like watching a drama CD (like those r-18 ones) or reading a good smut manga?
Is thirst a sin, do we need the holy water?
Or can it be enjoyed freely as long as its in a safe place?

I personally think as long as its been practiced in a way that doesn't hurt others or cause others pain then its okay to have the thirst.

I am curious to hear about various opinions on thirst.(￣∇￣")

Yaoi isn't a sin, nor is shounen-ai...and neither is BL!!!
Some BL may not deal with traumatic and abusive themes correctly and romanticize things that shouldn't be romanticized.
But BL/Yaoi is not the only genre that does that.
There are some really good BL manga out there, too!!!!
And I think its fine to have gay ships in a shounen anime/manga as well.
Two men in a manga/ anime who are dating is NOT a sin. Nor is it to ship them.
It feels so sad to me because nobody ever calls yuri/shoujo-ai a sin or hetero ships in other manga genres a sin, so why is YAOI A SIN?

I’m kinda scared and confused rn does anyone else feel like their emotions aren’t theirs and think about why they felt an emotion after feeling it? I got hurt and against my will I shouted and said open,open,open,plz my hand was stuck between the car door and the car so it shut on my hand. Then spent days thinking about why I felt pain why I said that. Anything that I feel irl makes me so confused I don’t know why I feel that emotion unless it’s the internet then I understand oh I cried cause they died and I liked that character or seeing them in pain and crying cause someone died makes me sad. But irl I cry cause someone yelled at me I want to be angry I want to hate them and I do but I cry and I don’t understand why I want to be angry I want to shout at them to shut up but I can’t. When the door shut on my hand I wonder why I didn’t just yank my hand back? Why didn’t I hit them when they yelled at me blaming me for something that I didn’t do. Does anyone else feel this? Or just me?

Ok so I’ve been reading a lot of villainess manga and the one trope that they always have is when the heroine steals the villainess’s fiancé (usually the crown prince). So I’ve been wondering, are there any comics, games, or shows where the MC actually steals the rival character’s fiancé or is that just a villainess manga thing? The only one I can think of is “Heirs”. Please name some if you know any.
