You started knowing what's yaoi and what made you stay? I'm sure some of you have read some pretty fk up yaoi troupe (more often than not, the troupe in yaoi are kinda messed up) and does it change your way of thinking or mess up your perception of reality and fiction?

I agree that minors shouldn't be reading stuffs like this but I would be a hypocrite to preach it since I was a minor when I started reading yaoi. It did opened my eyes to many concepts and some fk up stuffs but never once did I confused reality and fiction. I know very well that it's simply just something I read. If I'm curious or if I wanted to know more, I will simply googled it and understand it for myself.

I find it to be really weird when people start policing others on what they should draw or what they should write, because I've been reading stuffs like this since ages ago and it never affected me, it just makes me understand how fuck up it is that this happened and I've learn to understand what a bullshit it is.

For me, I've learn a lot. Accepting lgbtq+ and understanding free love, understanding the pain of being not accepted simply because of who you love, are probably the most prominent in all that I have come to understand.

So.... We are a siblings of 4 and one of us tends to have a really bad temperament. We were abuse in our younger days, two of us turned out very logical people and one turned into suicidal and one sibling is happy one moment then one thing ticks them off and they explodes. I remember that like 2 years ago, there was this trend that was about catfishing people on tinder/dating sites by pretending to be a not-so-known celebrity ( i just saw it happening with asian idols tho ) the trend was just people trolling others, and at the time i thought it was funny so i decided to try it out (i was young and naive, don't @ me), i did it like two times both times because i wanted to see how many people fell for it and troll them while i was at it, i obviously did it with no ill intent and i deleted my accounts like 2 days after creating them (bc i wasn't interested in dating and there was no point in leaving those accounts up) but now that i look back it, it was a pretty mean thing to do -and kind of disgusting if i'm honest- and i could've really damage(? the name of the celebrities whom i was using the photos of to catfish other even if it was just a simple joke, i also feel sorry to people i talked to even if it was for a day or 2.

Hello! I'm asking about the certain tropes found in fiction especially in the bl world such as rape and incest.

I know that there are people who have a preference for it, hell l enjoy a guilty pleasure of incest trope every now and then since its just fiction. But lately I'm starting to feel bad for liking such tropes. I don't condone the tropes when it occurs in real life of course because its terrible period. But I can't help but ask myself if I'm okay with said tropes in fiction does that mean a part of me thinks its okay in real life? A person having a preference for the "rape" trope, does that mean the person's a rapist and support it? Can saying "its just fiction" excuse people in liking other tropes such as shota? And if they like shota, does that mean they're a child predator???

I'm sorry if this sounds like a mess. English is not my first language. I'm sure this question might have already been asked in this site in different ways. I just want to ask your opinions and thoughts about this. I might have just been overthinking though.
