But I'm more interested in why. There must be a reason why you're attracted to a character like, for example, Asami in Finder. It might be something like, "He's the baddest boyfriend on the playground and I could really use a fearless power suit guarding my back right now" or more like "Because he's a gorgeous and has a big cock." If you have any reasons for liking a specific character (and you don't need to have any), it would be interesting to learn all about them.

Just a little question.. Have any of you guys ever shows a emotion that probably was not meant to betrayed while reading a yaoi book? I have 100% I have cried and laughed at certain books. If you have what book was it?

Hey guys, i'm really interested - how do you deal with sadness? Especially after reading some really tragic or dramatic manga/stories. Sometimes i feel like I'm suffocated by feelings and thoughts over manga/book, etc. I waste so many emotions and time on living through all of this fictional stuff, on constantly mulling over the most sad momentsagain and again in my head. I understand that it's just a story, that characters are fictional and all of this is not real, and I can't change anything of it, it's just the way author tells her story, but it doesn't help me at all. I realize that partly it's because my real life is poor on interesting events, emotions and positive experiences, that's why I focus on fictional stuff that seriously. Yeah, there are friends I meet from time to time but all of them have their own life and their own problems *and they are not really into manga and stuff* >.<"
Sometimes when i see the update of the manga that I know is sad and dramatic I want to avoid it even, but I know it's stupid because at the same time I really WANT to read it! So I'm kind of lost here T__T
So how to not take everything so closely to heart? Maybe some of you could share their "tips and tricks" on accepting what is happening and moving on.

Mine was the handmade snowglobe I got from my grandparents (my grandpa was glazier). It had little wooden angel (my grandma carved and painted it) inside and the 'snow' was made from the styrofoam. It was for my birthday, and even though today I can afford and I'm given much more expensive things, this stayed my favourite always. I still have it and it really stands out even among other luxurious snowglobes, it has some special glow, everyone noticed. I'm about to cry everytime I look at it

I find it that a fair amount of parents approach situations like this in a negative way and of course I would definetly accept him/her with open arms and demand meeting their partner [if they had one] lol. I think parents should be their child's number one supporter in these situations.
