My ex-best friend kinda got the gist of it. Besides that no one knows so I read yaoi in secret. I don't know why I don't tell people, I guess I just don't want to be judged, and am afraid to be misunderstood. I don't have enough close friends to get my kinks yet lol but definitely, someday I want to open up about it.
Reading yaoi is fun! I don't ...... 1 reply
What I look for in a yaoi? Good artwork, good coupling, and of course good storyline. My favorites though, are the ones with couples that have domineering semes that really adore their ukes and know what makes them lose their minds in bed.
I love, love, love it when ukes are so lost with pleasure that their bodies are not even theirs anymore, it'...... 3 reply
I love resilient misfits, survivors, tough cookies characters that have dealt with rough shit and moved on, actively earning their happy ending.
In my eyes a character is more lovable if its flawed, broken by life to some degree, fragile yet strong. Ii really dig hurt and comfort plots, even more so if the hurt is not comming from the same person ...... reply
Ohmydays, thats terrible! The internet was probably your mom's doing, ahaha. (un?)fortunately I have no anecdotes to share, no ones every caught me, im sly ;D (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ 1 reply
Yaoi with feisty characters are the best and where the uke isn't a sobbing mess but a real man outside the sheets. Those sort of storylines always get me hot 'n' bothered cos to see them subdued is just so sexy lmao 2 reply
Routinely. I'll read and my fiancé will walk up behind and be like, oh that looks hot. Then he looks closer and realizes that it's yaoi and one guy just happens to be wearing a dress or a cheerleading uniform or pantyhose or heels or is having his nipples played with or whatever. Then he'll be like, oh... ok then. I read next to him and he's lear...... 1 reply
Mmm... I always seek dark, twisted but at the same time sweet plots, where the characters are bit crazy, so lost in life, have a cruel side or serious shitty lifes, and they only want to be loved. Like Itou-san, Koi no Mannaka, Ienai Itame o Daite Iru, etc. Broken people attract me, hah.
Aside the quality of the story I also try to seek really...... 1 reply
eh, i dont really mind telling people. most of the people around me read manga or watch anime, so if they ask what i read i say romance and sometimes i say yaoi too (cuz i read both). havent met a person yet that looks at me weird. my mom kinda knows too since i said to her that i read m/m romance books (which i do). reply
Whenever one of parents walk into my room, and Im reading yaoi, I open up a new tab quickly 'ctrl + t'
Mom; whatcha doin' hun? ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

I'll be honest, I read yaoi because of the smex...but if the story is only about sex, of course i'll drop it. I like slice of life themed yaoi especially the ones where they're realistic and where the characters are really questionning themselves about their sexuality, because after that, maybe it's only me, the sex scene reaaally look intense and ...... 2 reply
I'm not, but I find the 18+ rating seriously excessive. A whole lot of people lose their virginity before they turn 18, so it seems silly that they wouldn't be able to see sex scenes in comics or film.
If sex weren't so taboo, I think the rating would be more like 15+ reply
'Things' are your daily life experiences by which you get to know the world around you. Tell others about the things you did, may it be cool, sad, crazy or funny. You can also find things that you might want to do and a friend to do it with!
