When it doesnt stick to its original genre . Like if its action but suddenly they overdid the romance just for fan service , or when its suppose to be simply romance but they overdid it with too much smuts or ect. that the plot is lost or didnt progress . When it introduced unnecessary character and unnecessary angst, like you could've ended it without the MCs having a problem but no, you want to show a storyline that doesn't even make any sense. Main reasons are if it’s omegaverse, or if the art/translations are bad. I wouldn’t judge if the phrase was specific to that language or if the tl isn’t great at English, but some translations in (specifically Chinese bl for some reason) are so awkward to read. reply
