i wanna experience this kind of feeling but people see me as a cold person but the truth is i’m just very shy and awkward because i don’t know how to keep a conversation going and... i also get scared easily by the tragic love stories i hear making me scared to commit.. what do i do? ┗( T﹏T )┛
I used to buy loads of paperback mangas when I was in high school. It completely filled my bookshelves while eating a shit ton of my allowance... I'd like to sell them to make room for other things now. Nowadays I prefer a digital copy. I can store a lot more online, support the author, save paper, and not worry about guests accidentally seeing rau...... reply
Dunno. Play video games with me, I guess? I'm not gonna ask him to do something he's not comfortable doing. Oh, but if he's got time, I'd probably ask to take care of my cat while I'm on a trip. I wouldn't date someone who's not ok with cats lol. reply
It bothers me a little, but I think I get bothered over the fact that their sexuality gets brushed under the rug so easily.
I think it would be really interesting if a story, any story would explore the “I’m only gay for you” trope in a more serious way. What it mean is that it may not be impossible for someone of a certain sexuality ( wheth...... reply
Hi, I accidentally left my long-ass response with possible suggestions and reasons as a reply to @bliblibloo so if you want to read a wall then go there I suppose.
But tlrd; (In my opinion) A temporarily close relationship is a lot better than a unnaturally long relationship, so I think you should treasure what you can and let go of whatever you ...... reply
There are a few reasons why this thing happens.. Its not only with you, we all experience this. The fading-away-relationship-for-no-particular-reason.
1. Shes tired of you.
2. Shes found someone on the same wavelength more then you.
3. You did something to annoy her.
4. Shes just really busy.
But all in all, it lies in communication you know. If ...... 3 reply
It's true that many yaois are built around the trope "straight guy turned gay", I guess that's kind of a fetish for someone (and don't forget: yaoi is basically porn). Technically you're right, saying such things is incorrect (it may seem realistic though if said by characters with a poor knowledge of LGBTQ stuff). Anyway, I think the definition of...... 4 reply
Honest suggestion. Don’t mean to offend anyone. But what is she getting out of this? It sounds also as if she is being used. If you feel like that is not the case and you want to be her friend then do not look for her when you’re sad. You need someone else to vent to that is mentally healthy that can take what you are off loading. I work as a s...... 2 reply
Hey! So I'm close to a girl who is one year higher than me in uni and we met this year, our relationship is quite special because at first there was a romantic interest (but turned out we both didn't want it in the end) so we started talking a lot by messages really quickly. We told each other many personal things through messenger but didn't have the chance to often hang out together because she and I are really busy and our schedules usually don't match :/ What is really weird is that being together was often awkward since we really aren't used to physically talking together. But when I was feeling depressed, which sadly happens quite often, I'd reach out to her just to crash at her place and she'd confort me, these moments were nice because we just casually talked together. However, recently we're not talking as much as before without any particular reason, it just happened out of nowhere, but I'm still feeling down so I want to see her (she's really wonderful you've no idea) but in the same time I don't want our relationship to focus entirely on me being sad (when I'm sad I don't want to talk a lot about myself, I'm more like just hanging out with someone and talk about stuffs but not only stuff related to me you see what I mean ?) So should I continue seeing her when I'm sad (I'd like to see her more btw, it's just that it's quite difficult) ? Or should I end this relationship because it could turn out to be toxic ?
I think a lot of yoai fetishizes "turning the straight guy gay", rather than saying outright that a guy can like both women AND YOU (the gay protag). It stems from that stupid "pick a side" biphobia that is present in society. I only see obvious bi characters when they have a kid with someone first and their spouse leaves OR they had some (badly wr...... 1 reply
It's annoying because it seems to be the rule and not the exception. People are very misguided when it comes to sexuality, especially in oppressed societies like the Asian ones usually are. They have the tendency of forgetting that sexuality is a whole spectrum and not just straight, bisexual, or homosexual. Yeah, it could happen that some people a...... 1 reply
What I find the most annoying is when a straight character falls in love with another guy but continues to identify as straight. They'll say something along the lines of "I'm straight, I just happened to fall in love with this particular person who's a guy". It happens in one of my favorite manga, Haru wo Daite Ita. After the two guys become a coup...... 1 reply
I hope this makes sense, and if I've made some mistakes, I'm sorry! I'll try to research some more, but this is just what I know. This all isn't necessarily to excuse some things, but just that change may be slow to take place and that's important to think about.
I've seen yaoi with characters who are bisexual! It's not as commonly used, but it doe...... reply
Question: Do you guys ever hate it when in yaoi, they play the cliche "im straight but since I can do it with guys, im now gay" Like bitch no, you're bisexual (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ I honestly hate this tbh. What about yall?
Corrected answer:
No I don’t hate it but it could had been dealt with better. I can understand why this causes frustratio...... 2 reply

'Things' are your daily life experiences by which you get to know the world around you. Tell others about the things you did, may it be cool, sad, crazy or funny. You can also find things that you might want to do and a friend to do it with!
